My clinical practice is rooted in culturally inclusive, trauma-informed, values-based, and collaborative care that interweaves social justice, anti-racism, and LGBTQIA+ affirming work. I deeply believe an individual's diverse identities, values, and cultures are at the center of how they experience the world and I strive to understand each client as the whole and unique person they are. As a provider, I show up with warmth, curiosity, humor, creativity, and non-judgment as we explore your lived experience and build toward your most authentic state of being.
I’m dedicated to offering socioculturally attuned care that takes into account the diverse backgrounds and values of my clients, grounded in principles of social justice. Recognizing the uniqueness ofo each individual, I put in the effort to comprehend their family history, cultural influences, and generational patterns. This allows me to pinpoint the origins of their challenges and create a well-informed and effective path for their journey toward healing.
My clinical practice is driven by my social justice roots, with a recognition that surviving oppressive systems can cause chronic trauma responses in our bodies. I believe in helping you hold and nurture that impact with care, while maintaining our awareness of the systems that created it.
LMFT, MA, MS
My entire clinical practice is rooted in social justice, being trauma-informed, and individualized care; I believe that clinical care cannot be great in quality unless it is individualized and holistic.
I believe that our bodies were designed with an innate capacity to heal what is wounded, and that the invaluable role of therapy is to offer a safe space to see our wounds with compassion, bring awareness to our needs, and find the right tools to access our own, unique capacity for healing and resilience.
